Born in England, I grew up watching my dad tinker with home theater and computers.  At 6 years old I moved to Vermont. During high school I got into the car stereo phase further developing my technical interest in sound.  I studied lots of architecture and design however my interest in sound led me elsewhere.  I got involved in a local theater program doing their lighting and sound. Performance with me running the sound board seemed right up my alley so I decided to attend Savannah College of Art and Design.  Many thanks to Michael Chaney my location sound teacher at SCAD. It was him who taught my first production audio class.  I completed a few short internships and some freelance in post-production before I got my first production sound mixing job in 2004.  Since then I have preferred production sound to post production.  I moved to Atlanta and joined IATSE local 479 in 2010 and have been here ever since.
